Teeniest - "A Hand to Hold Forever"

When you see that there's a band called Teeniest and they have a song called "A Hand to Hold Forever," you're going to assume that it's the most twee song you've ever heard and expect it to sound like it didn't quite make the cut for the Juno soundtrack. But you'd be wrong... mostly. Sure, "A Hand to Hold Forever" does have some twee elements, but there is a surprisingly dark vibe throughout the song. While the lyrics are filled with love and hope, the music defies that by being fairly unsettling (in a good way). Plus, the song has an unexpected funk and groove to it that just sucks you in. Teeniest surprised us in every way with this one, so we're quite intrigued to hear what they'll do next.

You can listen to "A Hand to Hold Forever" below. The song is available via Bandcamp for download. For more on Teeniest, check out the band's Twitter.
