Album: Loons
Quick Thoughts: Dwelley is in the running to be your next favorite Boston-area band. This is a debut that feels like an alt/indie-rock time capsule. A little angular, a little grungy, but just absolutely blew me away across its eight tracks. A band to watch, for certain, and easily my favorite of the week.
Songs of Note: "Stone Heads," "Skate and Smoke," "Negligee," "What a Waste"
Artist: The Wombats
Album: Oh! The Ocean
Quick Thoughts: I'll be honest, I didn't know The Wombats were as popular as they apparently are. Like everyone else, I loved "Let's Dance to Joy Division," but they've been a fairly consistent act over the last 15 or so years. Their latest is incredibly polished, and I was frankly shocked at how many songs resonated with me. Even a song that could go pear-shaped quickly, "I Love America and She Hates Me," works really well as both a song and as a sentiment. If you've jumped off the bandwagon because they've gone so mainstream, Oh! The Ocean is worthy of your time to jump back on.
Songs of Note: "Sorry I'm Late, I Didn't Want to Come," "Can't Say No," "Blood on the Hospital Floor," "My Head is Not My Friend," "I Love America and She Hates Me," "The World's Not Out to Get Me, I Am," "Lobster"
Artist: Bite Me Bambi
Album: Eat This
Quick Thoughts: I feel like we've been on the precipice of a ska revival for years now, and honestly, I think it's that we lack albums like Eat This to make it happen. I've loved all sorts of the recent ska stuff that's come out over the last few years, but Bite Me Bambi's long-awaited debut is the first one that makes me feel like it's 1997 again. Just a phenomenal ska album that doesn't stick around too long but also doesn't feel too short. Loved this, and you will, too.
Songs of Note: "Too Many People," "Bad Boyfriend," "Girls Like You," "Gaslighter's Anthem," "Like That"
Artist: Brother Ali
Album: Satisfied Soul
Quick Thoughts: Brother Ali teams up with Ant from Atmosphere on production for what might be my favorite album of his so far. The rapper comes at it with a lot of positivity and a lot of honesty that is often lacking in the rap world, and I just really enjoyed this. It's so great, and Ali's flow and delivery is, in my view, unmatched. Don't miss this one.
Songs of Note: "Satisfied Soul," "Higher Learning at The Skyway," "The Counts," "Two Dudes," "Mysterious Things"
Artist: Chatham Rabbits
Album: Be Real With Me
Quick Thoughts: There is no dearth of husband-and-wife duos in the folk world, but there's something special about Chatham Rabbits on their latest. Between the gorgeous music and honest portrayal of love and marriage while balancing life in general, it has such a great feel and hit the gut just right this week. Be sure to check this one out, it's a great listen.

After working with the MARK WIZARD RECOVERY, everything changed for me. It was the most trying period of my life, and I had been in agony and sorrow for ten months. I was at my lowest moment and had lost all I had worked so hard to acquire. But, thanks to The Hackers at The MARK WIZARD'S RECOVERY CENTRE, I was able to regain everything I had lost all at once. I got my money returned in under twenty hours, and my issue was handled in a very professional manner. It seemed so unreal. No one could ever fully understand how I was feeling at that very moment—the feeling you get when you find something you thought you had lost forever—in this case, my life was returned to me—is something I doubt anyone could ever comprehend. For their efforts in getting my money back after ten months of devastation, the MARK WIZARD'S Team of Hackers has my eternal gratitude. I wholeheartedly endorse this team and urge anyone who has had a similar circumstance to get in touch with the Mark Wizard Recovery.
