Sometimes you just see a band's name and know you're going to dig them. That's the case with Femegades. The London band just released a new single about the realities of motherhood called "Depleted." The song is going to appeal to every mother who has ever struggled with the demands placed on her, and sonically isa cross between The Donnas and Bikini Kill. It has all of the rock 'n' roll swagger and early punk base of The Donnas with the aggression and attitude of Bikini Kill. I can't quite call it a fun song, but it does take a very tough subject into an enjoyable if loud listen.
