Eazyhead are being called both "the Brian Jonestown Massacre of South East Asia" and "Living Death Rock Legend of Manila." The band's latest single, "Love (Taking Drugs with You)," shows that they fit into both categories. The song is a hazy, modern version of psychedelia with all of the noise and aggression of their labelmates A Place to Bury Strangers. It's like Eazyhead have one foot planted in the 90's version of the 60's revival and the darker side of indie rock. "Love (Taking Drugs with You)" is trippy and heavy at the same time, with roots in vintage garage rock without sounding at all like the previous century.
