Back in October, Megan from Work released the excellent Girl Suit, and now they're back with a new single! The project of New Hampshire based artist Megan Simon released "Life Into a Movie," and if you loved their previous releases as much as we did, you're also going to love this new one. It's two and a half minutes of blurring the lines of pop and alt-rock perfection. There's also more than a little pop punk in "Life Into a Movie." Personally, I'm hearing a ton of Letters to Cleo in this one, but if I'm bring honest it's more Kay Hanley's work from Josie and the Pussycats. Megan from Work's specialty is bouncy and upbeat alt-rock that leans heavily into pop, and that's exactly what we're getting here.
You can watch the video for "Life Into a Movie" below. The single is available now via Bandcamp. For more on Megan from Work, check out the artist on Instagram and Facebook.
