Quick Thoughts: A fun little slice of ska during this revival era. More Less Than Jake than Reel Big Fish, but the sort of perfect amalgam of nostalgia and modernism that works wonders.

Quick Thoughts: A beautiful bit of folk rock with some gorgeous melodies and instrumentation. The whole thing feels like it punches above its weight class and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this.

Album: TEARS
Quick Thoughts: GRLwood's brand of unique indie-alt is on full display with this one, a great listen with some catchy and addictive tracks. Shouldn't be missed.

Album: Golden Age of Self Snitching
Quick Thoughts: One of the better rap listens of late that I regret missing so early on. A manic effort in many regards, with a driving attitude that doesn't let up through its whole runtime.

Album: Granada
Quick Thoughts: Middle Eastern rap music? Yes, please. Especially in the second half, where it really takes off and goes in directions I didn't anticipate. A real treat.

Quick Thoughts: This is the way punk was meant to be heard. This was such a great surprise for the late year, it's the sort of sticky-basement-floor feel with an edge that can always fall apart, but never does here.

Quick Thoughts: Goes without saying that a season with new music from Czarface and company is a good time for everyone. Can't go wrong with this listen.
