Album: Who Let the Dogs Out
Quick Thoughts: Lambrini Girls feels like the angry political younger sister of Amyl and the Night Sniffers if they listened to a lot of McLusky, which is absolutely a compliment. It's raw, aggressive punk with a point of view and it doesn't hold back in a lot of ways you might expect other bands to do. A mandatory listen not only for the moment we're in right now, but also as a great kickoff to the year.
Songs of Note: "Big Dick Energy," "Love," "Cuntology 101"
Artist: Early James
Album: Medium Raw
Quick Thoughts: Early James has done the rootsy blues thing fairly well for a while now, but something about Medium Raw has grabbed me in an unexpected and wonderful way. Perhaps it's the production from Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys, that gives the album the sort of "man with a guitar alone in a room" feel that lends itself so well to the songwriting, or perhaps just the songwriting itself, which is just a timely, lovely experience from start to finish. Easily his best yet.
Songs of Note: "Nothing Surprises Me Anymore," "Tinfoil Hat," "Go Down Swinging," "Rag Doll"
Artist: zzahara
Album: Spiral Your Way Out
Quick Thoughts: zzzhara has a few albums under their belt at this point, and this one might be my favorite so far. It's a much more assertive listen from an act that appears to have found its identity, and I loved it. Make time for this one.
Songs of Note: "It Didn't Mean Nothing," "Bruised," "Ghosts"
Artist: The Hahas and the Blablas
Album: S/T
Quick Thoughts: If there's one thing our streaming lives have done, it's reduce the visibility of truly irreverent music. The Hahas and the Blablas are not taking this seriously, and they lean into it so well that it feels sincere and pure even though it's clear they're in on it. Has great mid-aughts energy.
Songs of Note: "Bark!," "David Icke," "Debbie Harry," "Andy Kaufman is Not My Dad"
Artist: Girl Pusher
Album: gatekeep gaslight girlpusher
Quick Thoughts: To be honest, I hadn't heard of Girl Pusher prior to seeing possibly the best album name in recent memory. What's cool about it is that Girl Pusher is a great slice of off-center electroclash / electropunk that's loud and angry and an absolute blast across its runtime. Very much reminds me of Deli Girls by way of 100 gecs, worth your time.
Songs of Note: "separation anciety," "dont think 2much," "im im im getting better," "whats ur gamertag"
Artist: Franz Ferdinand
Album: The Human Fear
Quick Thoughts: Franz Ferdinand is a little over 20 years into this thing now, and while they aren't the juggernaut they were in the mid-2000s, The Human Fear shows they still have it. It's a polished product, but songs like "Hooked" and "Build It Up" reminded me why they were such a revelation in 2003 / 2004. A welcome listen in the new year.

I’m happy I reached out to XAP Credit Solution and I never had any regret. I needed help with the National Credit Systems, they gave me a letter saying I’m going to pay them off and this is what we agreed to settle on and yet no good response from them. I cried for help because they are rude and I can’t get another apartment because of these people while they keep talking about a lawsuit with me and everything I needed to be helped with. This kept me worried until I came through a forum where someone mentioned XAPCREDITSOLUTION@GMAIL..COM and how they help with all kinds of credit repair services; I contacted them and explained all my problems; he started with clearing negative reports and late payments before bypassing my credit, both mortgage and all inquiries have been wiped off and I’m proud to have a credit score of 796 across the 3 credit bureaus. Contact the above email if you need help fixing your credit report.
