According to Shilpa Ray, her latest single, "Portrait of a Cat Lady," was inspired by Lucinda Williams, ABBA, Dick Dale, Big Star, and The Byrds. The song is a unique mixture of singer-songwriter, doo wop, Americana, and power pop. There's a strong oldies vibe throughout the song, especially with Ray's crooning vocals. However, "Portrait of a Cat Lady" is hardly a throwback song. The guitars have far too much of a bite and an edge to them to remind anyone of oldies, except maybe some 70's proto-punk and power pop. It's a melding of different vintage sounds into something that still sounds modern.

BOOST YOUR CREDIT SCORE FOR A BRIGHTER FINANCIAL FUTURE
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I were trying to purchase a house after we gave birth to twins. But due to our bad credit score it was not approved. My score was 501, her's was 545. They use the higher of the two scores, so we decided to work on her FICO score. Thanks to Janine who referred me to Synack Hack and their contact details are synackhack{@}tech{-}center{.}com
They helped remove debt from both credit report, they now appear as paid, the most amazing part is that my FICO score has been raised from 545 to 817 across the three credit bureaus. We were able to buy the house in Sydney and now raising our beautiful children there. Thank you Synack you made all this possible.
