A certain type of person is going to immediately click on a song described as "goth pop," and I'm apparently that type of person. "Curse Breaker," the latest from Miss FD, is also described as gothic-piano and witchy darkwave. It's a song focused on Miss FD's vocals and piano. Despite the pop elements in "Curse Breaker," it's undoubtedly a dark song. It's like a mixture of Rasputina, Shakespeare's Sister, and Tori Amos. It's a compelling song that is going to be a delight for those of us made happy by The Cure and Siouxsie & The Banshees.
You can watch the video for "Curse Breaker" below. The single is out now on Quantum Release Records. For more on Miss FD, check out the artist's website.
