Orcutt Shelley Miller - "Four-door Charger"

For their latest single, the avant-rock supergroup of Bill Orcutt (Harry Pussy), Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth), and Ethan Miller (Howlin Rain, Comets on Fire) have released the nine minute epic "Four-door Charger." This new song doesn't start off all that avant-rock. It's more some straight up 70's psychedelic rock music with a Neil Young-esque guitar soloing. As the track progresses, it starts delving into more and more experimental territory. "Four-door Charger" is still a rock song, and Orcutt Shelley Miller are rock artists, so it's relatively straightforward at times, but this is a killer single that bridges the worlds of experimental music and classic rock, crossing between the two worlds multiple times throughout its nine minute length.
