One thing you'll notice about Louisiana's K.C. Jones is that she incorporates a lot of genres into her music. Her latest single, "Beginnings and Ends," could have just been a great roots based singer/songwriter tune. Instead she adds little pieces of classic country, Appalachian folk, psychedelic rock, and even some killer country rock guitar into the song. It's the kind of Americana that can be very easily enjoyed by the casual music fan as background music, and also enjoyed by people who like to delve further into the song they're listening to. "Beginnings and Ends" was always going to be a great song, but Jones has turned it into a truly memorable one.
