Die Job are a Vancouver punk band that just released a new single. "Thin Blue Whine" is an energetic and fun pop punk song that lands somewhere alongside early Green Day. The song is bouncy with just enough of an edge to keep it more on the punk side than the pop side. I believe "punchy" might be the best description of "Thin Blue Whine." I don't typically make assumptions on what a song is about, but I think we can all safely assume based on the title alone. This is pop punk with a strong political message, and Die Job may very well become favorites around here.
You can listen to "Thin Blue Whine" below. Hazards of Occupation is due out August 8 on Kinda Cool Records. For more on Die Job, check out the band on Facebook and Instagram.
