Doom Flower - "Telehealth"

Chicago's Doom Flower have released a single that is both anti-folk and dream pop. "Telehealth" is a beautiful song that isn't always pleasant to listen to. By being anti-folk, Doom Flower have some qualities associated with folk without being folk. The song has an almost jazzy/hip hop beat to it, with an acoustic guitar slide being used for sound as much, if not more, than actual guitar chords. Plus, there are these flowing noises swirling around the song giving it a dream like feel. It's an interesting mixture, having these pleasant sounds working alongside more harsh ones, but that's what makes Doom Flower an intriguing band.

You can listen to "Telehealth" below. Limestone Ritual is due out January 6 on Record Label. The album can be pre-ordered here. For more on Doom Flower, check out the band's website.
