Forty Feet Tall - "We Can't Go Back to Normal"

If it wasn't for their press release, I would swear that Forty Feet Tall came from London and not Los Angeles. The band's latest single, "We Can't Go Back to Normal," is a blistering punk rock burst with some deep, deep roots in post punk. It's a fast paced and noisy political rant that "... explores the anxiety and angst that has built up during isolation from the pandemic coupled with the polarized political climate." Despite how angsty the song is, there is still a bounciness and some form of joy to it. It sounds almost like early Arctic Monkeys deciding to get heavy. It's a two and a half minute burst of jubilant anger, and you're going to want to check this one out.
