Controller are a New York City band that make "sad songs that people can dance to." They take their inspiration from artists like Whitney Houston, INXS, and Queens of the Stone Age, and if that doesn't convince you to listen, I don't know what could. Their latest single, "We're All Gonna Die," is indeed sad music that you can dance to. It's a high energy song that combines the light, dance friendly side of INXS with the aggression and grit of Queens of the Stone Age, with maybe a little industrial and post-punk thrown in. It's an undeniably fun song, despite the fact that it's about everyone dying.
