Artist: The Wolff Sisters
When and where: Friday 2:50-3:20, Orange Stage
We've been covering The Wolff Sisters since way back in 2018. Jeff even got out to see them in 2019, but despite the fact that they play locally pretty consistently, I haven't had a chance to yet. The trio of sisters play a version of folk rock that is simply great. They haven't redefined the genre, but their songs always surprise us with unique elements and amazing harmonies. It seems like the music world is packed with folk rock sister bands these days, but The Wolff Sisters keep standing out. We've always been amazed that they've stayed a local New England band without blowing up nationally. Boston Calling might finally be what stops them from being our secret.
